Built using tried and trusted technology, its design and operation has been continuously improved and refined to provide everything you need in a home stairlift and nothing you don’t. Its compact design makes it perfect for narrow staircases. The seat, arms and footrest all fold neatly away when not in use, enabling others to pass easily on the stairs.
YEARS OF SERVICE
Properly maintained, your Acorn Stairlift will give you many years’ reliable service. Each new design is tested to a minimum of 25,000 return journeys – that’s equivalent to more than eight years’ continuous use based on eight return journeys per day. Acorn Straight Stairlifts are usually installed in under two hours, with no fuss, mess or disruption. The unobtrusive single stairlift rail is secured to the stairs, not the wall, so you won’t need to redecorate.

Acorn’s 130 Straight Stairlift has all the features you need and none that you don’t. Reliable DC power from rechargeable batteries in the stairlift carriage mean you’ll never be left stranded in a power outage. When not in use the seat, arms and footrest of the stairlift carriage can be neatly folded away so that others can continue to use the stairs. The maximum user weight of the Acorn 130 is 300lbs, but a Heavy Duty version is available with an uprated capacity of 350lbs.
